There are so many different ways to drive high quality traffic to your website and one of the most effective is guest blogging. If this is the first time you've heard of this, let me explain the concept.
The idea here is to attract the traffic that other bloggers are getting through their blogs. You'll write blog posts for them for free and you'll get the chance to invite their visitors to check out your website or blog. Basically, it works just like article marketing but instead of directories, you're going to post what you've written on relevant blogs. Sounds pretty easy, right?
In this article, I'll show you how it can be done so you'll get positive result in as little time as possible. Here's what you need to do:
First step is to choose the blogs that you're going to target. You need to target those blogs that can help you boost your online visibility. Choose those that have higher page ranking (higher than your PR), those that are attracting enormous traffic, and those that are considered great source of useful information. What you can do is Google search your name together with the word blog. The top 10 blogs showing up on the search page results are your best bets.
Next step is to email those bloggers to let them know your intention. Let me tell you now that getting them to say yes might not be easy. You see, top bloggers are receiving so many proposals on a daily basis. What I suggest is that you think of creative ways on how they'll accept yours. You'll need to show these people that you can offer their visitors with real value. You have to show them proofs that you can offer new information that can help them make their blogs even more popular. Send top bloggers sample posts. Write some unique posts for each blogger. Put your best foot forward so you can impress them. Ensure that each post contains in-depth, exciting information and that they're written with the same tone and format that are being used by the bloggers that you're targeting. One tip I can give you is to use images on your posts as these will make your content even more attractive.
Make your posts interesting to read. It would really help if you can make your articles not just informative but interesting and engaging as well. Write them while keeping your target audience in mind. Talk directly to these people and make use of your great sense of humor. Ask questions once in a while, tell relevant stories, share your related experiences, etc. If you can give your audience great reading experience, I'm sure top bloggers will ask you to guest blog for them over and over again.
Convince more bloggers. Don't stop with this endeavor after you've convinced top 10 bloggers to let you post something on their blog. Instead, find other bloggers who have huge following and offer them with free posts. The more bloggers you tie up with, the more links you'll build for your website and the more traffic you're going to attract. That's exactly what you want to happen, right?
